Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Telesforo in the 2nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Jimeno Abastas sent off a good shot on target. In the 7th minute, Cristo Basajaun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnout Reekers. The goal made the score 1-0. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indiana Jones in the 13th minute of play. Emanuel Jacob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. In the 19th match minute, Ardiles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Astudillo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 20th minute of play forced Ardiles's goalkeeper Emanuel Jacob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Venerando in the 21st minute of play. Ardiles's Emanuel Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 26th minute of play. Emanuel Jacob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 28th minute of the match. Emanuel Jacob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ardiles's Emanuel Jacob played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 31st minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Venerando in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Jacob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Ardiles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Nuno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisandro Estevon hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Jacob was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

Emanuel Jacob came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Emanuel Jacob made a huge save. Emanuel Jacob made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 57th minute of play. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Jacob having to interfere. Emanuel Jacob made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Jacob was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Emanuel Jacob made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 67th minute. Emanuel Jacob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 76 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Jacob having to interfere. Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emanuel Jacob, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Emanuel Jacob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Abastas came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Jimeno Abastas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Eikelkamp got free with Emanuel Jacob in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88th minute Jimeno Abastas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute David Eikelkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Jacob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Jacob showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 94th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ardiles's Indiana Jones got a free kick in the 96th minute. Ardiles made a substitution. Feliberto Ramirez replaced Indiana Jones. The Ardiles fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
