Marciano Quirce scored 1-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Odol went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Chris Nygaard kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eliseo Gumaro. That made the score 2-1 in the 86 minute of play. Chris Nygaard's late challenge caught a Cochequingán FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Nygaard helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Chris Nygaard. 91 minutes into the game, Cochequingán FC's Marciano Quirce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Keld Paulsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Frasco in the 94th minute of play. Denmark's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cochequingán FC had won, even though Denmark had held more of the ball.
