The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot 6 in the game by Jens-Erik Vennerström from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. Juventus's Anibal Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 7th minute of play. Tommy Kahn didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 9th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 13th minute, Edgardo Frasquito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes, Germany's Frank Sachs shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anibal Abastas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Germany reached it. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Jens-Erik Vennerström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vinicio Eliu went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haroldo Sansone during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Juventus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Sansone to maneuver through the defense. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Erik Vennerström had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 43 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinicio Eliu's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Juventus were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bernabe Bertol took the corner. If Jens-Erik Vennerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jens-Erik Vennerström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinicio Eliu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Adrianinho Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Eliu came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Juventus were awarded a corner. Bernabe Bertol went to the cornerflag to take it. Vinicio Eliu took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Jens-Erik Vennerström hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Anibal Abastas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Erik Vennerström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Linus Schwerner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventus the free kick. Adrianinho Mesquita charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrianinho Mesquita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Germany booed when Juventus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrianinho Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Juventus.
