Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Erik Jilek kicked off to start the match. Valdemar Turecek charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdemar Turecek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Turecek to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Dave Barillari in the 4th minute really tested Vavrinec Holub's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Vavrinec Holub was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Ernesto Minichiello capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernesto Minichiello really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Ascoli came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Ernesto Minichiello dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vavrinec Holub, 2-0. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Minichiello in the 21st minute of the match. After 23 minutes of play, XMAS's Ernesto Minichiello made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vavrinec Holub was left in no man's land by his defense there! In a very dangerous position, a player in Czech Republic fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Vavrinec Holub, was totally fooled by XMAS's Ernesto Minichiello, who 30 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. When Erik Jilek came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Czech Republic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Jilek couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Kvetoslav Janku got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When XMAS's Alberigo Gianfrancesco in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Czech Republic's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Kvetoslav Janku got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Alberigo Gianfrancesco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Eugenio Casiraghi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Eugenio Casiraghi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernesto Minichiello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th match minute, XMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Barillari to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, XMAS's Armando Polidori got control of the ball when David Rusil tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 80 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Vitek. In the 84th minute XMAS were awarded a corner. Dave Barillari went to the cornerflag to take it. David Rusil kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Alberigo Gianfrancesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. XMAS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
