Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Charles Town's Nicky Stapleton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Felipe Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyrone Fowler having to interfere. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Charles Town's João Dante. But to his dismay, João Dante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Charles Town's Tyrone Fowler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Portugal booed when Charles Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Manuel Adan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Agachi in the 21st minute of the match. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicky Stapleton, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tyrone Fowler. Tyrone Fowler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Felipe Barreto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Tyrone Fowler when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicky Stapleton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Jose Manuel Adan in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tyrone Fowler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Charles Town's Tyrone Fowler got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Graciano Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Charles Town's Sean Egan. But to his dismay, Sean Egan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 42 minutes into the match, Charles Town's goalkeeper Tyrone Fowler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caetano Moreira. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Egan in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Dante in the 46th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Portugal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Charles Town were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 50th minute of play forced Charles Town's goalkeeper Tyrone Fowler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viriato Moura scored 2-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tyrone Fowler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 55 minutes, Felipe Barreto made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Charles Town's Tyrone Fowler tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute, Rodolfo Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Charles Town's goal looked a bit too open when Graciano Coutinho came free, but Tyrone Fowler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicky Stapleton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Charles Town's João Dante was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilson Amorim in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Charles Town's Nicky Stapleton in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portugal's goalie prevented a goal. Charles Town's Sid Gentry was substituted for Sean Egan. Charles Town's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paşa Işıklı in the 71st minute. Portugal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Nicky Stapleton scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Amorim, making the score, 3-3. In the 78th minute, Bruno Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Paşa Işıklı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bruno Bastos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, one of Portugal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Portugal. The referee gave Charles Town a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paşa Işıklı, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. 3-4. Sid Gentry received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilson Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Sid Gentry slotted it home off the left post making it 3-5 in the 88th minute. Nicky Stapletons short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Wilson Amorim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A well-hit corner resulted in Jan-Joost Hosselaer heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Charles Town's Nicky Stapleton got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
