When Erik Jilek came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Czech Republic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Jilek couldn't finish the play. After 5 minutes, Denis Dostal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Czech Republic and the Apocalipse FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Denis Dostal hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Apocalipse FC's Gianluigi Buffon got control of the ball when Erik Jilek tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Rodrigues came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 9th minute of the match Denis Dostal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Denis Dostal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Denis Dostal hit a great ball. Marcos Rodrigues took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Kvetoslav Janku fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave Kvetoslav Janku a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Kvetoslav Janku hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Apocalipse FC's goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan Rezek. Alan Rezek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gianluigi Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Nico Alcântara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. Bohumir Kohout's late challenge caught a Apocalipse FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bohumir Kohout helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Apocalipse FC booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bohumir Kohout didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alan Rezek fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave Alan Rezek a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Alan Rezek got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Gil Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Gianluigi Buffon made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Alan Rezek sent off a good shot on target. Nico Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Rodrigues in the 43rd minute of the match. Vavrinec Holub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Rodrigues's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Alcântara in the 48th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Dieguinho Barbosa got free with Vavrinec Holub in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bohumir Kohout got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Bohumir Kohout hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Rodrigues came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Vitek hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. Vavrinec Holub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Rodrigues's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Alcântara in the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Marcos Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dieguinho Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Vavrinec Holub made a huge save. Alan Rezek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, David Rusil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the game, Celsinho Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apocalipse FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Czech Republic the free kick. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Apocalipse FC! The referee gave Czech Republic a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Erik Jilek, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Apocalipse FC's Gianluigi Buffon. 1-2.
