A collision led to Huya FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Gerardo Muc hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Huya FC's Vladimiro Ponce got a free kick in the 12th minute. Gerardo Muc made in the 16th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Vladimiro Ponce however managed to control. Adan Machado hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 played minutes Huya FC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Federigo. Vladimiro Ponce got a throw-in 25 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Nunez Patrido. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nunez Patrido's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. In the 34th minute, Adan Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gerardo Muc made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Nunez Patrido however managed to control. When Mathias Ludvigsen fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denmark's protests and gave Mathias Ludvigsen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Ludvigsen to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nunez Patrido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Prospero Federigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. In the 55th minute, Gerardo Muc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Bertram Svenningsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Ignacio Milio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keld Paulsen had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Nunez Patrido's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Chris Nygaard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Barros having to make a save. Oscar Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Steen in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes in the game Gerardo Muc did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Prospero Federigo. Lars Steen hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 93 played minutes Huya FC got a freekick which was hit by Adan Machado. In the 94th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Denmark had played much better football throughout.
