In the 6thth minute of the game Bello Cura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute Argentinean Patriots 1816 were awarded a corner. Gualterio Daunte went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Argentinean Patriots 1816's corner Gualterio Daunte fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilson Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Wilson Amorim was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Pekka Rollins capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pekka Rollins really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Isidoro Rio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 16th minute of play. Bruno Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Bello Cura might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bello Cura ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute Bello Cura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gualterio Daunte was slow to take the kick. During this time Argentinean Patriots 1816's players had a chance to rest. If Bello Cura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Felipe Barreto made a precise shot to the right of Isidoro Rio. Argentinean Patriots 1816's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Isidoro Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. Isidoro Rio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 54th minute of the match. Pekka Rollins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualterio Daunte took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilson Amorim. Portugal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bello Cura in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben-Ami Ranchin, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Ben-Ami Ranchin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Daniel Pimentel hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute of the match Gualterio Daunte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilson Amorim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ben-Ami Ranchin struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argentinean Patriots 1816. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bello Cura in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute of the match Argentinean Patriots 1816 got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gualterio Daunte ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gualterio Daunte almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. 86 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Pekka Rollins came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Bello Cura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bello Cura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Isidoro Rio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Pimentel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Bello Cura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute Bello Cura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Argentinean Patriots 1816 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
