Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Sachs kicked off to start the match. Florida Gulf Coast's Eleuterio Fiz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Linus Schwerner in the 3 minute of the game. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lukáš Katačić went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Sixto Bitxintxo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukáš Katačić in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Florida Gulf Coast got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. John James ran over to the corner to take the kick. John James made a great header on Florida Gulf Coast's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 19th minute of play forced Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper Luis Nardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's Lukáš Katačić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. Lukáš Katačić was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Florida Gulf Coast's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lukáš Katačić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Lukáš Katačić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Lukáš Katačić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's Lukáš Katačić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Willy Stieler's late challenge caught a Florida Gulf Coast's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willy Stieler helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Lukáš Katačić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florida Gulf Coast's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukáš Katačić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lukáš Katačić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Lukáš Katačić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Lukáš Katačić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Lukáš Katačić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 77 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Lukáš Katačić came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 played minutes Florida Gulf Coast got a freekick which was hit by John James. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Luis Nardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Lukáš Katačić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Florida Gulf Coast were the better team. Florida Gulf Coast's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
