Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Corneliu Dridu made the kick off and thus started the match. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Eliseo Cutri fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Celso Trevisan quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 7th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Corneliu Dridu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 14th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Flavio Vittori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Corneliu Dridu went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Porziano Marchitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Corneliu Dridu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Italy booed when Dr Lecter SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dieguinho de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaccheo Andolina to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigfrido Auletta. If Omid Kaulbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Trevisan made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Sigfrido Auletta sent off a good shot on target. Luiz Fabiano Pitta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Vittori having to make a save. The throw-in from Dieguinho de Medeiros in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Luiz Fabiano Pitta struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dr Lecter SC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Porziano Marchitelli got free with Celso Trevisan in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 76 minutes Dr Lecter SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Porziano Marchitelli got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Celso Trevisan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dr Lecter SC! A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Deodato Magliozzi hit a great ball. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Dr Lecter SC made a substitution. Wanderson Fernandez replaced Lauro Antunes. The supporters of Dr Lecter SC booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deodato Magliozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Di Fabrizio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Trevisan made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Adriano Curto sent off a good shot on target. Celso Trevisan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guiscardo Davide, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The Dr Lecter SC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
