When Alf Iller fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sαηgrε Azuɭ's protests and gave Alf Iller a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luciano Ferran. Luciano Ferran yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Luciano Ferran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Lionel-Andrés Messias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 23rd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Ferran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goalkeeper Luciano Ferran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. Adrian Orzaize sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Orzaize in the 42nd minute of play. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Luciano Ferran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lionel-Andrés Messias in the 60th minute. Bas Tuitert hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Ur Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luciano Ferran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 73 in the game by Adrian Orzaize from a close distance when the talented Arnout Reekers managed to make a qualified save. Netherlands's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lionel-Andrés Messias in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Ferran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Ferran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Adrian Orzaize fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. When Mathijn Doctor fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Netherlands's protests and gave Mathijn Doctor a yellow card for diving instead. Mathijn Doctor hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When Jonas Ordono came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Sαηgrε Azuɭ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Ordono couldn't finish the play. The Sαηgrε Azuɭ players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Netherlands from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
