Eugenio Franceschelli acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Micah Macdonald. When Janusz Grondzki fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brembols's protests and gave Janusz Grondzki a yellow card for diving instead. Janusz Grondzki hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Xavier Gallagher kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eugenio Franceschelli. That made the score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. The Brembols fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Franceschelli should have stopped the shot. Brembols's Eugenio Franceschelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Ferruccio Simeoni fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Khalid Kennedy, passed just outside the right post. Eugenio Franceschelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Issac Dawson in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Brembols's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but Eugenio Franceschelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes Brembols got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Santana. Su Xus short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Khalid Kennedy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
