Hauk Hareide in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavio Vittori, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 21st minute of the game Tomasz Hoffman made a throw-in which Hauk Hareide played forward. A sloppy throw-in by Tomasz Hoffman in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Siricio Liotta. In the 29th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Caner Bahçıvan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Carabata Groove getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Caner Bahçıvan hit a great ball. Gianpaolo Mascari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Italy's Porziano Marchitelli got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavio Vittori was a little too slow when Hauk Hareide got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-1. 44 minutes into the game, Hauk Hareide recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Flavio Vittori. Hauk Hareide showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Tomasz Hoffman's late challenge caught a Italy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomasz Hoffman helped the player get up and apologised. Carabata Groove made a substitution. Petyo Brusarski replaced Hermengildo Bazkoare. Carabata Groove's Eduardo Domeka was substituted for Hauk Hareide. The supporters of Italy booed when Carabata Groove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Hoffman didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduardo Domeka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Domeka came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito got control of the ball when Sigfrido Auletta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristobal Goito made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Domeka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 63rd minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Carabata Groove got a freekick which was hit by Felix Musko. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 65th minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Carabata Groove's Petyo Brusarski in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Domeka in the 77th minute of the match. Carabata Groove's attentive Felix Musko managed to snatch the ball when Gianpaolo Mascari made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. 81 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigfrido Auletta. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petyo Brusarski in the 87th minute of the match. Cristobal Goito came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Zaccheo Andolina. But to his dismay, Zaccheo Andolina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. The Italy players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Carabata Groove from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
