Carabata Groove's attentive Alvaro Florian managed to snatch the ball when Faustino Almeida made a throw-in in the 2nd minute of the game. A collision led to Carabata Groove getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jeremias Quiroga hit a great ball. Cristobal Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Hauk Hareide had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hauk Hareide was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Carabata Groove's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Cristobal Goito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Carabata Groove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Musko to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Goito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Barreto went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristobal Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Caner Bahçıvan came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to Carabata Groove's Caner Bahçıvan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 47th minute, Felipe Barreto made a precise shot to the right of Cristobal Goito. Carabata Groove's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Carabata Groove players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Portugal were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. In the 56th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Portugal booed when Carabata Groove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Isauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petyo Brusarski in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Carabata Groove getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Alvaro Florian hit a great ball. 64 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Domeka came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Caetano Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Felix Musko sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilson Amorim skillfully saved the ball. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Felipinho Amorim got a free kick in the 71st minute. Petyo Brusarski took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Domeka in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute Eduardo Domeka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Domeka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Portugal were furious when Raul Caetano was red carded, 85 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Portugal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carabata Groove:s goal. Felix Musko placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 89 minutes into the match, Petyo Brusarski notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 92 played minutes Carabata Groove got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Florian. When Eduardo Domeka came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Carabata Groove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Domeka couldn't finish the play. In the 97th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Bastos to maneuver through the defense. After 98 played minutes, Carabata Groove's Felix Musko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wilson Amorim came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carabata Groove reached it. 101 minutes into the match, Eduardo Domeka notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Carabata Groove players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
