Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis-Maurice Nadel, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Hamílton Loyola threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lars Meesters, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cao Chao Bin's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Max Feldthaus took the corner. 27 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hamílton Loyola. Gustaaf Groeneveldt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 31st minute, Bas Tuitert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis-Maurice Nadel in the 32nd minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis-Maurice Nadel in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamílton Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Cao Chao Bin. But to his dismay, Cao Chao Bin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s goalkeeper Hamílton Loyola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamílton Loyola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Hamílton Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 54th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hamílton Loyola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes in the game, Cao Chao Bin dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Loyola having to interfere. In the 64th minute Cao Chao Bin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xie Lin Kuan to maneuver through the defense. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Christoph Marekov was substituted for Ricardinho Chaves. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Tõnis Kriska was substituted for Cao Chao Bin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 70th minute of play forced ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s goalkeeper Hamílton Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hamílton Loyola. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 76 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Tõnis Kriska came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Niels Henning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Frieters in the 88th minute of play. After 90 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Max Feldthaus who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s corner Lennart Ojarand fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. Hamílton Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Peter Salmutter hit a great ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hamílton Loyola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Netherlands fans cheered their team off the field, for while ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
