In the 20th minute Lucio Gabino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habil Castolo in the 21st minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qian Cheng Xing in the 23rd minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Sabin Pânzaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Gabino in the 34th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sabin Pânzaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 38th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sabin Pânzaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind the xeneise dream team's goalkeeper Sabin Pânzaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes into the game, the xeneise dream team's Habil Castolo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After having played for 47 minutes, Habil Castolo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. the xeneise dream team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Habil Castolo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, the xeneise dream team's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Sabin Pânzaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Despite this Sabin Pânzaru quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Gabino in the 66th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sabin Pânzaru, passed just outside the right post. 73 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Habil Castolo came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Eutor, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 77 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andoni Paut who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arda Ardashov in the 82nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. the xeneise dream team's Sabin Pânzaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when the xeneise dream team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Roldanillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 90th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Sabin Pânzaru in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
