The referee ignored 【№1】天津津门虎's protests and gave 林霖浩 a yellow card for diving instead. 高政杰 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Metod Mlynar in the 18th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when 史军奕 got free with Henrich Slany in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stefan Havel hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Kornel Jahoda got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute of the match 高镇迅 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrich Slany showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as 【№1】天津津门虎's 狄建弘 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henrich Slany. That made the score 1-0 after 33 minutes of play. 【№1】天津津门虎's 倪霖辰 got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 高政杰 came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Slovakia's Metod Mlynar. But to his dismay, Metod Mlynar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Metod Mlynar struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. 高政杰 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slovakia. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 史军奕 in the 60th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when 贺烨升 came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute 【№1】天津津门虎 were awarded a corner. 高镇迅 went to the cornerflag to take it. 倪霖辰's late challenge caught a Slovakia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 倪霖辰 helped the player get up and apologised. 倪霖辰 kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Metod Mlynar during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 狄建弘's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrich Slany read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. If 史军奕 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
