A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. Rafal Leszczynski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charly Alcaraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 played minutes POCASPULGAS got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Gizon. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Malte Schiele hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Procopio came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes, Malte Schiele mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the POCASPULGAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Procopio in the 38th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Rafal Leszczynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Charly Alcaraz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chris Mergenthaler during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. POCASPULGAS's Astor Herrera was substituted for Abelardo Montiel. In the 65th minute of the match, Frank Sachs got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rafal Leszczynski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 72 played minutes POCASPULGAS got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Procopio. 73 minutes into the game, Germany's Frank Sachs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafal Leszczynski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. POCASPULGAS's Rafal Leszczynski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save POCASPULGAS from getting a goal against them. Genaro Procopio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Charly Alcaraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Charly Alcaraz came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the POCASPULGAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charly Alcaraz couldn't finish the play. Rafal Leszczynski made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Rafal Leszczynski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
