Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Berggren in the 35th minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeferino Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. If Gianpaolo Mascari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 宋潮景 to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 78th minute of play forced ★『红魔』曼联★上海申花【沪】's goalkeeper Zeferino Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
