The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Campeones del Mundo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Germany:s goal. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 9th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Linus Schwerner heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Daniel Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Fulgencio Ferrer struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campeones del Mundo. After 21 minutes of play, Germany's Frank Sachs made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Igon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulgencio Ferrer's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Fulgencio Ferrer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Igon. Campeones del Mundo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Daniel Igon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Campeones del Mundo's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Daniel Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Campeones del Mundo's Guillermo Gorosti got a free kick in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. With a little luck, Campeones del Mundo's Daniel Igon got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Albin Holweck fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Albin Holweck a yellow card for diving instead. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Germany's Sven Krakouer got a free kick in the 64th minute. Guillermo Gorosti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. During the 72nd minute of the match Albin Holweck completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Albin Holweck a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fulgencio Ferrer in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 88th minute of play. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Campeones del Mundo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Germany's performance. The match ended with a win for Germany.
