In the 4th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Krakouer to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Johannes Strömberg tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Frank Sachs kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mazarópi Filho. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s Mazarópi Filho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mazarópi Filho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mazarópi Filho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 23rd play minute Frank Sachs came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mazarópi Filho. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agostinho Meireles during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 25 minutes into the game, one of IsioSamuel Jrs F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Carlos Neto in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mazarópi Filho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute Germany were awarded a corner. Frank Sachs went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Linus Schwerner got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mazarópi Filho quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Carlos Neto's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, João Carlos Neto made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that João Carlos Neto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when João Carlos Neto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Antonio Venedikov kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaká Toledo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Neto in the 77th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Carlos Netos short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 92nd match minute, IsioSamuel Jrs F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldinho Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. When Malte Schiele fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Malte Schiele a yellow card for diving instead.
