Facundo Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Jorge Errando successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. KIRICOCHO FC's Jorge Errando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 30th minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Caner Parshan came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caner Parshan in the 39th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Errando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 44th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Facundo Torres was the one to do the kick off. Caner Parshan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. In the 75th minute Caner Parshan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 78 minutes, Bartolomeu Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolomeu Dias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st play minute Facundo Torres came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Wilson Amorim. 2-2. In the 86th minute, Facundo Torres made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Galsino in the 92nd minute of play. If Felipinho Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Theodore got free with Wilson Amorim in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The KIRICOCHO FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
