The audience thought a goal was coming when Mário Maradona got free with Flavio Vittori in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by 尹森泉 in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Gomberto Picozzi. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Mário Maradona had several of the Italy's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Flavio Vittori as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 48th minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thommy Jadis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. Porziano Marchitelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Thommy Jadis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MINEIROS's Bon Čáp was substituted for Mário Maradona. After 68 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Deodato Magliozzi. With a little luck, MINEIROS's Thommy Jadis got control of the ball when Sigfrido Auletta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Smail Larbi kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. MINEIROS's Thommy Jadis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save MINEIROS from getting a goal against them. If Porziano Marchitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thommy Jadis made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. Sigfrido Auletta scored 1-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thommy Jadis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. MINEIROS's Humberto Severo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sansone Vanella in the 97 minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Italy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MINEIROS.
