Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Faustino Almeida made in the 3rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Graciano Coutinho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 4th minute of play forced Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Allan Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4thth minute of the game Daniel Pimentel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palestra do Interior's Allan Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Paulo Godoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Godoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hudson Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Paulo Godoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 19th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hudson Sergipano in the 20th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Ernani Velasco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilson Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Celsinho Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allan Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 34th minute. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Godoi's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Godoi in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Portugal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palestra do Interior were winning 0-3.

The throw-in from Alexandre Thanos in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Graciano Coutinho. Felipe Barreto struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Allan Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. Allan Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Palestra do Interior's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Allan Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fabricio Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Andrade couldn't finish the play. Palestra do Interior's 吴洲坚 was substituted for Moisés Matorin. In the 65th minute, Felipe Barreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Palestra do Interior's Percival Cruz was substituted for Niclas Danielsson. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. After some careless play in the Palestra do Interior defense, Felipinho Amorim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Allan Varela. The Palestra do Interior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Allan Varela should have stopped the shot. When Vitório Lago came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Palestra do Interior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitório Lago couldn't finish the play. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Cruz in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Andrade to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitório Lago got free with Wilson Amorim in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Allan Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute of the match Portugal got a corner. Palestra do Interior's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Pimentel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Portugal's Graciano Coutinho to fire away a dangerous shot which Allan Varela despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marzuki Papilaya kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves 吴洲坚 could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Wilson Amorim however easily saved by the left post. With his leg Wilson Amorim managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Palestra do Interior's 吴洲坚 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Pimentel scored 2-3 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Allan Varela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Palestra do Interior walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
