Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kyle Cox kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Pombal 2003 F.C. getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Dito Carvalho hit a great ball. In the 5thth minute of the game Micah Macdonald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Gilson Arósio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Pombal 2003 F.C. getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Hermínio Moraes hit a great ball. Issac Dawson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the England defense, Di Yuan Liang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Khalid Kennedy. The England fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Khalid Kennedy should have stopped the shot. England's Kyle Cox got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilson Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Micah Macdonald in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but Gilson Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Issac Dawson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilson Arósio having to interfere. After 32nd play minutes Kauã Lago shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Khalid Kennedy and just under the crossbar into goal. 36 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Di Yuan Liang came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Meirelles. 39 minutes into the match, Pombal 2003 F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but Gilson Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Di Yuan Liang, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Micah Macdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Di Yuan Liang made a kick off. With an all-out effort, England's Gilson Arósio threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kyle Cox, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gilson Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Issac Dawson in the 55th minute of the match. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Lago in the 66th minute of play. If Issac Dawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 minutes, Murdock Sinden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pombal 2003 F.C. and the England players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of England booed when Pombal 2003 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murdock Sinden didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Issac Dawson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gilson Arósio, 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Pombal 2003 F.C.'s zone, Kyle Cox stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilson Arósio came out of the goal and Kyle Cox tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Cooper Thompson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute of the match Dito Carvalho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Khalid Kennedy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gilson Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caelan Hayes, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. England's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
