Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Hungary's Antal Valentin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olov Strand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Henning Lingren came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olov Strand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henning Lingren, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Örjan Levander took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fodor Daniel to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Stennäs FF's Henry Bergström got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Örjan Levander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stennäs FF's Kent Westerberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fodor Daniel but with some difficulty. Olov Strand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Örjan Levander's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Fodor Daniel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Olov Strand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 34th minute of play. Olov Strand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 35th minute of the match. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Stennäs FF's Olov Strand did a great save. After some careless play in the Stennäs FF defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olov Strand. The Stennäs FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Strand should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Håkan Björklund to make the kick off. Takacs Tibor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olov Strand having to make a save. Olov Strand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antal Valentin went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Stennäs FF's Simon Barck was substituted for Henry Bergström. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Henning Lingren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. Per-Åke Pålsson charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per-Åke Pålsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Stennäs FF got a freekick which was hit by Per-Åke Pålsson. 67 minutes into the match, Hungary's Takacs Tibor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olov Strand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute Örjan Levander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olov Strand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. If Hegedus Henrik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olov Strand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Levander in the 80th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hungary players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
