C.F.Fuenlabrada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Wim Wilmes scored to the left of an out of position Sebastián Torrico, making the score, 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, C.F.Fuenlabrada's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Sebastián Torrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastián Torrico stood somewhat misplaced when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 24 minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Sebastián Torrico in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Bianco Cherubini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. C.F.Fuenlabrada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when David Eikelkamp scored to the left of an out of position Sebastián Torrico, making the score, 3-2. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bianco Cherubini in the 41st minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bianco Cherubini made a kick off. Sebastián Torrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 58th minute of play forced C.F.Fuenlabrada's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Gust Ennemans in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.F.Fuenlabrada's Karl Berg. In the 64th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaaf Groeneveldt to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Lars Meesters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastián Torrico was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. A collision led to C.F.Fuenlabrada getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ricard Ferrer hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Karl Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastián Torrico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 77 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. C.F.Fuenlabrada's Sebastián Torrico tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edward Västerberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, C.F.Fuenlabrada's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Sebastián Torrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.F.Fuenlabrada's Sebastián Torrico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 96th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Edward Västerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Netherlands fully deserved thier win.
