Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off. When Caetano Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portugal's protests and gave Caetano Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Pinner Cluj-Napoca a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ali Nurettin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. 1-0. Jalmari Mikkonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Portugal's Felipe Barreto in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pinner Cluj-Napoca's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Gallo in the 15th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jalmari Mikkonen came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jalmari Mikkonen. Jalmari Mikkonen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matt De Ligt in the 28th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Franco Vázquez in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Nurettin in the 36th minute. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Felipe Barreto hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Matt De Ligt made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Matt De Ligt took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petruț Mircescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matt De Ligt in the 53rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Graciano Coutinho could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Jalmari Mikkonen however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Petruț Mircescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Petruț Mircescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Vlas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pinner Cluj-Napoca made a substitution. Ionică Sava replaced Ivan Ghiondea. Raul Caetano kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Franco Vázquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Romeo Vlas sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matt De Ligt, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Cristian Gallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Pimentel during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Pimentel hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Aparício Gaspar was substituted for Adan Umea. Pinner Cluj-Napoca made a substitution. Traian Cigu replaced Franco Vázquez. Daniel Pimentel kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Isac Zub got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the game, Romeo Vlas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Petruț Mircescu. But to his dismay, Petruț Mircescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. The throw-in from Traian Cigu in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Bruno Bastos. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Jalmari Mikkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Bruno Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Traian Cigu in the 93 minute of the game. Bartolomeu Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
