Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Petruț Mircescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matt De Ligt in the 4th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Matt De Ligt notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Felipe Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jalmari Mikkonen was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Jalmari Mikkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jalmari Mikkonen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Daniel Pimentel came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Pimentel couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petruț Mircescu made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jalmari Mikkonen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jalmari Mikkonen. Jalmari Mikkonen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 60 minutes into the game, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Ali Nurettin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Felipe Barretos short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Jalmari Mikkonen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pinner Cluj-Napoca made a substitution. Ionică Sava replaced Ivan Ghiondea. The throw-in from Franco Vázquez in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Bruno Bastos. Felipe Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Jalmari Mikkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 71st minute of play. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Traian Cigu was substituted for Franco Vázquez. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Aparício Gaspar was substituted for Adan Umea. After 87 minutes Pinner Cluj-Napoca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Pimentel who took care of the corner kick. In the 88th minute, Felipinho Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
