Match Report

Italy Arena
Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0)
The crowd rose to their feet as Zaccheo Andolina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorge Errando. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. KIRICOCHO FC's Jorge Errando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save KIRICOCHO FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Zaccheo Andolina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Errando was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Italy were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after KIRICOCHO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of KIRICOCHO FC's goalie and right to Siricio Liotta. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. KIRICOCHO FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 10 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Errando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute of the game Urbano Esiquio made a throw-in which Ernesto Theodore played forward. Zaccheo Andolina scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Errando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind KIRICOCHO FC's goalkeeper Jorge Errando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Jorge Errando made a huge save. After 22 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Gomberto Picozzi. In the 24th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Errando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Zaccheo Andolina recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jorge Errando. Zaccheo Andolina showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Galsino, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Errando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Errando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 37th minute of play. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Torres in the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Errando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sigfrido Auletta fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Italy's protests and gave Sigfrido Auletta a yellow card for diving instead. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Theodore, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Facundo Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Urbano Esiquio made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. Zaccheo Andolina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jorge Errando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Errando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siricio Liotta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Errando came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Siricio Liotta. But to his dismay, Siricio Liotta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jorge Errando. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Flavio Vittori successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Galsino in the 67th minute of the match. KIRICOCHO FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arnel Pansoy in the 68th minute. It was a well-played corner which Urbano Esiquio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 71 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Torres came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zena Busacca lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Italy:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of KIRICOCHO FC:s goal. Italy:s Flavio Vittori showed great skill when he stopped Arnel Pansoy:s penalty. 80 minutes into the match, KIRICOCHO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Jorge Errando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by KIRICOCHO FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Siricio Liotta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. When Sansone Vanella came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sansone Vanella couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the KIRICOCHO FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Italy.
