The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Elodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute Guaberto Elodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Taurus Assoc. de Futebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. After 8 minutes, Guaberto Elodio made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Denmark's Keld Paulsen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Elodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Guaberto Elodio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the game, one of Denmark:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Elodio in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Elodio came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nelsinho Alvarenga but with some difficulty. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Elodio in the 31st minute of the match. Taurus Assoc. de Futebol were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Denmark's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Basílio Ribeiro took the corner. The corner led Taurus Assoc. de Futebol's Basílio Ribeiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Keld Paulsen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 40th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olav Graversen to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Taurus Assoc. de Futebol booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olav Graversen didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikkel Wulff in the 45th minute of play forced Taurus Assoc. de Futebol's goalkeeper Nelsinho Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guaberto Elodio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Taurus Assoc. de Futebol's Wiliam Gerber quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kenn Skou, made in the 51st minute of the game. Guaberto Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Guaberto Elodio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. Kenn Skou kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Guaberto Elodio took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Keld Paulsen to make any attempt to save it. Taurus Assoc. de Futebol's Guaberto Elodio got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. Guaberto Elodio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keld Paulsen having to make a save. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guaberto Elodio in the 62nd minute. Nicodim Vătăşel made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. Guaberto Elodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. After 97 minutes of play, Taurus Assoc. de Futebol's Guaberto Elodio made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Taurus Assoc. de Futebol players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
