After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Belgium! The supporters of KIRICOCHO FC booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nigel Devos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute Lázaro Galsino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurens Vandamme to maneuver through the defense. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Theodore in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Lázaro Galsino made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some careless play in the KIRICOCHO FC defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Errando. The KIRICOCHO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Errando should have stopped the shot. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jorge Errando made a huge save. Ernesto Theodore struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KIRICOCHO FC. KIRICOCHO FC's Jorge Errando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save KIRICOCHO FC from getting a goal against them. The KIRICOCHO FC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when KIRICOCHO FC's Ernesto Theodore looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edward Vanderstraeten who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Jorge Errando when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 43rd minute, Yves Dervaux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Facundo Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience was convinced that Edward Vanderstraeten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Errando was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 87th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Errando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The KIRICOCHO FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
