In the 21st minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. KIRICOCHO FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 52nd minute of play forced KIRICOCHO FC's goalkeeper Jorge Errando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. The KIRICOCHO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Errando should have stopped the shot. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Netherlands supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KIRICOCHO FC's performance. The match ended with a win for KIRICOCHO FC.
