Scotland's Alexander Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Fantini in the 6th minute of play. Anselmo Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Alexander Higgins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sydney Ramalho in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Higgins saved Scotland from getting behind. Dalmo de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scotland's Alexander Higgins proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Scotland from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Dalmo de Brito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexander Higgins. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Fletcher Main's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Eduardo Galvão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Aesir FC FSCMZ's Dalmo de Brito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alexander Higgins. That made the score 5-0 after 40 minutes of play. Alexander Higgins stood somewhat misplaced when Albano Ban came free in front of goal and shot 6-0 to the left of him in the 44 minute. Alexander Higgins was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anselmo Fantini showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 47 minute of play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zac O'Donnell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Fantini struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Alexander Higgins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aesir FC FSCMZ. Albano Ban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. After 97 minutes of play, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Dalmo de Brito made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Higgins was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Aesir FC FSCMZ were the better team. Aesir FC FSCMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
