Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Garaona in the 5th minute of play. Melquiades Garaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Garaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Germany got a corner. EL RUSSO FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Germany's Ulrich Stein getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Gaztea Valensuela came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post. The supporters of EL RUSSO FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boruc Jaraczeski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 53 played minutes EL RUSSO FC got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Stephen. Olgierd Prusek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Silvio Marzoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Melquiades Garaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Boruc Jaraczeski made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. EL RUSSO FC made a substitution. Max Ferro replaced Boruc Jaraczeski. In the 70th minute, Olgierd Prusek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Olgierd Prusek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Silvio Marzoli in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Adrian Dreifuss. In the 77thth minute of the game Melquiades Garaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albin Holweck's late challenge caught a EL RUSSO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albin Holweck helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. Lionel 柯景亦 charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lionel 柯景亦 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of EL RUSSO FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Max Ferro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL RUSSO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. EL RUSSO FC fully deserved thier win.
