The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 28th minute, Vicente Merino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dino Foni. The goal made the score 2-1. Dino Foni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Percha in the 39th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Zbydniowski came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zygmunt Percha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dobromir Zbydniowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Gabriel Ascaso made a huge save. Gabriel Ascaso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dobromir Zbydniowski in the 57th minute. Dino Foni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Aranda in the 59th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Dobromir Zbydniowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Ruiz replaced Adria Bielsa. Dobromir Zbydniowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. But to his dismay, Pau Herrero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Spain's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
