Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Chris Nygaard made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Dacian Barbăneagră left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monte Olimpo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Falcão Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Nicolas Varela made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Bertram Svenningsen sent off a good shot on target. Pipo Inzaghi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dacian Barbăneagră struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monte Olimpo. 19 minutes in the game, Olav Graversen fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nicolas Varela having to interfere. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Barbăneagră in the 21st minute of the match. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anderson Nascimento in the 27 minute of the game. In the 32nd match minute, Monte Olimpo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão Senna to maneuver through the defense. Chris Nygaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Denílson Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bertram Svenningsen came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertram Svenningsen couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Kenn Skou got a free kick in the 39th minute. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Barbăneagră in the 40th minute of play. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Nygaard to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dacian Barbăneagră was the one to do the kick off. A well-hit corner resulted in Pipo Inzaghi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Lars Steen fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denmark's protests and gave Lars Steen a yellow card for diving instead. Lars Steen hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 63rd minute of play forced Monte Olimpo's goalkeeper Nicolas Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The throw-in from Anderson Nascimento in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Varela having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 78th minute of play forced Monte Olimpo's goalkeeper Nicolas Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dacian Barbăneagră had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pipo Inzaghi. After having played for 87 minutes, Dacian Barbăneagră managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte Olimpo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dacian Barbăneagră was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Conrado Pimenta fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monte Olimpo's protests and gave Conrado Pimenta a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Monte Olimpo getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Conrado Pimenta hit a great ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monte Olimpo's Nicolas Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Monte Olimpo's Nicolas Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 played minutes Dacian Barbăneagră rounded Denmark's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. The Denmark supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Monte Olimpo's performance. The match ended with a win for Monte Olimpo.
