Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Zaccheo Andolina started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The Underdogs's Jan Wessel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Wessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Wessel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siricio Liotta in the 18th minute of play. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 20th minute. The throw-in from Frank de Boer in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. 24 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Wessel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sigfrido Auletta in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Wessel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Wessel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, The Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piearres Olalla to maneuver through the defense. After 35 played minutes, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan Wessel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Italy reached it. In the game's 35th minute Italy's Sigfrido Auletta took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Jan Wessel and thus the score was 0-1. After 37 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Sigfrido Auletta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 40th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dolf Schoonderwoerd stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by The Underdogs's Dolf Schoonderwoerd. But to his dismay, Dolf Schoonderwoerd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The Underdogs's Jan Wessel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save The Underdogs from getting a goal against them. Zaccheo Andolina struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Jan Wessel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piearres Olalla in the 72nd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Zena Busacca hit a great ball. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Jan Wessel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Curto in the 84th minute of the match. Italy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
