After some careless play in the Germany defense, Januário Domingos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Catarinense in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the match, Giuseppe Catarinense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 2-0. Januário Domingos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Caetano, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Catarinense in the 22nd minute of the match. Albin Holweck struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Gentil Macieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. AD Pontassolense's Gentil Macieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 37th minute of play. Januário Domingos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. In the 42nd minute Nuno Madruga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Giuseppe Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Gentil Macieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 60th minute of play. When AD Pontassolense's Januário Domingos in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 95th minute, one of AD Pontassolense:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AD Pontassolense. AD Pontassolense's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
