Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Federico Otsoko started the match with the kick off. Enrique Suero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 2nd minute of play. Federico Peyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. In the 14th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Suero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Suero having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Otsoko in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Federico Peyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. D10S's Enrique Suero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 34th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, D10S's goalkeeper Enrique Suero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Esteban Pavon was slow to take the kick. During this time D10S's players had a chance to rest. 61 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enrique Suero, 0-1. Enrique Suero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Eikelkamp in the 68th minute of play. Geoffrey Rémond might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geoffrey Rémond ran back to his position shaking his head. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoffrey Rémond in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Suero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 73 played minutes D10S got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Cunha. In the 88th minute, Luciano Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than D10S throughout the match.
