After a defensive mix-up in FC LSG's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After a rather tough play, FC LSG's Witold Wolniewicz got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, FC LSG's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Wiktor Juszkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Denmark's Chris Nygaard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wiktor Juszkowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of FC LSG booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarne Kirkegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bertram Svenningsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Wiktor Juszkowski made a huge save. Chris Nygaards short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Wiktor Juszkowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 42nd minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Juszkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Lars Steen hit a great ball. Jan Frankowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Chris Nygaard made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 51st minute of play forced FC LSG's goalkeeper Wiktor Juszkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 minutes, Tanek Siekierski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC LSG and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. Keld Paulsen came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan Frankowski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 59th minute. FC LSG made a substitution. Zdzislaw Domeradzki replaced Mikolaj Filipkowski. 64 minutes into the match, FC LSG's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Wiktor Juszkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertram Svenningsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mikkel Wulff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Juszkowski having to interfere. Theis Winther kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, FC LSG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Wolniewicz to maneuver through the defense. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
