Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 3rd minute of play. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Madureira in the 5th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Frank Peletier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Édouard Mendy. Hannover Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Peletier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Roberto Vasconcelos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dadá Madureira in the 35th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Édouard Mendy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When France's Frank Peletier in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hannover Football Club's goalie prevented a goal. The Hannover Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. France were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Peletier made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Frank Peletier notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Hannover Football Club's Édouard Mendy. Édouard Mendy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. João Francisco Fonseca's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Francisco Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. João Francisco Fonseca hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Hannover Football Club's Édouard Mendy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Hannover Football Club from getting a goal against them. Robert Chapuis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Édouard Mendy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Frank Peletier came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Peletier couldn't finish the play. Édouard Mendy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camille Baume in the 62nd minute. In the 80th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camille Baume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Édouard Mendy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hannover Football Club's Dadá Madureira in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye France's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Quentin Beaux hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Hannover Football Club's Roberto Vasconcelos tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Hannover Football Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. France were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
