Deodato Magliozzi made in the 4th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Porziano Marchitelli however managed to control. The supporters of Italy booed when Terremoto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Buinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Isidoro Buinton in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Siricio Liotta. After a defensive mix-up in Terremoto FC's zone, Siricio Liotta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenneth Libesoons came out of the goal and Siricio Liotta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.J. Cox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Flavio Vittori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shi Ming could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. Kenneth Libesoons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 31st minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaccheo Andolina to strike the kick off in the second half. Flavio Vittori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shi Ming's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Italy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hilario Duarte was slow to take the kick. During this time Terremoto FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Pablo Herrera got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Flavio Vittori quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Porziano Marchitelli came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Porziano Marchitelli couldn't finish the play. Siricio Liotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Libesoons having to interfere. Terremoto FC's Bernard Mietus was substituted for Shi Ming. Terremoto FC made a substitution. Jonas Lore replaced Epifanio Sal. Kenneth Libesoons made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Sigfrido Auletta sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Terremoto FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Libesoons, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Porziano Marchitelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Kenneth Libesoons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Italy's Siricio Liotta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenneth Libesoons narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Italy were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Terremoto FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sigfrido Auletta took the corner. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Sigfrido Auletta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kenneth Libesoons quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Terremoto FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Bernard Mietus hit a great ball. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Bernard Mietus kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Kenneth Libesoons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Curto in the 87th minute of play. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Isidoro Buinton, made in the 89th minute of the game. Terremoto FC's Kenneth Libesoons proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Terremoto FC from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute, Bernard Mietus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Vittori was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.
