Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Milian, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Raul Llorian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Sergio Montrel could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Arnout Reekers however easily saved by the left post. Raul Llorian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Llorian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 21st minute of the match. After some careless play in the PATADAS S.A defense, Lars Meesters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raul Llorian. The PATADAS S.A fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raul Llorian should have stopped the shot. Raul Llorian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when PATADAS S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Milian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, PATADAS S.A's Anibal Ostadar got a free kick in the 29th minute. Raul Llorian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 30th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match, Sergio Montrel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnout Reekers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. PATADAS S.A were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fidel Donio took the corner. The corner led to PATADAS S.A's Sergio Montrel getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 45th minute of play forced PATADAS S.A's goalkeeper Raul Llorian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raul Llorian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jesus Milian to strike the kick off in the second half. Raul Llorian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 52nd minute of the match. With a little luck, PATADAS S.A's Raul Llorian got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fidel Donio hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raul Llorian was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jesus Milian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 83 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raul Llorian, 0-5. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Raul Llorian skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 90th minute of play forced PATADAS S.A's goalkeeper Raul Llorian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Netherlands eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
