Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of The Team FC's Aníbal Lorenzi. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Cao Shi Yi sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cao Shi Yi in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Cao Shi Yi came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cao Shi Yi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Willy Stieler fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Willy Stieler a yellow card for diving instead. Tommy Kahn had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Cao Shi Yi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Otis Short in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Cao Shi Yi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. In the 58thth minute of the game Cao Shi Yi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aníbal Lorenzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Cao Shi Yi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
