Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Martin Rito started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Martin Rito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Rito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Martin Rito sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Tommy Kahn threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henning Martinsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Martin Rito took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Hector Sarmiento made in the 17th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Martin Rito however managed to control. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Elizardo having to interfere. A throw-in in the 25th minute of the game was made by Leopoldo Ixidor with Martin Rito as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Martin Rito got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-0. 37 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarmiento de Resistencia the free kick. Frank Sachs hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Martin Rito got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeu Jacinto hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Martin Rito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francis Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Martin Rito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Martin Rito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarmiento de Resistencia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Martin Rito got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Rito in the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Martin Rito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Martin Rito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Frank Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Martin Rito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento de Resistencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Rito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martin Rito struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarmiento de Resistencia. 80 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Rito came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Martin Rito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Rito in the 85th minute of play. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Martin Rito got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sarmiento de Resistencia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
