Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusebio Heli was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anibal Lluques. Eusebio Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes Q. T. I. got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Montrel. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Q. T. I.'s Jonas Henrico ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Eusebio Heli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 33rd minute of the match. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Lluques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anibal Lluques was the one to do the kick off. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Lluques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eleuterio Nuno kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebio Heli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lisandro Abeita hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Q. T. I.'s Lisandro Abeita got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 65 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Lars Meesters. Gust Ennemans hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Eusebio Heli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 72nd minute of the match. Q. T. I.'s Eusebio Heli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Q. T. I. from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute Leopoldo Vermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 78 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 80th minute of the match, Lars Meesters tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eusebio Heli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 81 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Vermudo came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anibal Lluques in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Anibal Lluques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. The Q. T. I. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
