Karl-Oskar Månsson's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 21st minute Gerardo Savier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Henry Robiquet. After 28 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Camille Baume. Maxime Durand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Savier to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Savier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Peletier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Brovall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th match minute, Delminho FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Villiam Målare to maneuver through the defense. Carl Ekrot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Maxime Durand made a huge save. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Savier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, France's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gerardo Savier fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
