Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. Spams's Faustino Jerold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustino Jerold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Faustino Jerold came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Lars Meesters. But to his dismay, Lars Meesters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Spams's Faustino Jerold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Faustino Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 20th minute of play forced Spams's goalkeeper Faustino Jerold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Jerold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Jerold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Faustino Jerold was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Jerold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes Spams's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Faustino Jerold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 35th minute of play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Diagur in the 37th minute of play. Faustino Jerold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 39th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustino Jerold. Spams's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The supporters of Spams booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gijsbert ter Kruimer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Faustino Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Faustino Jerold quite easily take care of the ball. In the 58th minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Faustino Jerold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Faustino Jerold however easily saved by the left post. In the 68th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathijn Doctor to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Tscherner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Spams's Faustino Jerold proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Spams from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Tscherner in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, Spams's Faustino Jerold got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Spams was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Noguera didn't get a good kick on the ball. If David Eikelkamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd match minute, Spams was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Tscherner to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Spams's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Faustino Jerold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Spams defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustino Jerold. The Spams fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustino Jerold should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Reynaldo Weather hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Jerold having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Spams's Pablo Noguera got a free kick in the 95th minute. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
