Flavio Vittori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Suazo went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 18 minutes into the match, FC Philotimo's Humberto Suazo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 19th minute FC Philotimo were awarded a corner. Ruben Meldasgoas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Philotimo's Ruben Meldasgoas to fire away a dangerous shot which Flavio Vittori despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Suazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 28th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandro Gavilanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Philotimo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Checa Aguillar hit a great ball. 33 minutes in the game Sigfrido Auletta after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Alexandro Gavilanes. A very good opportunity. Alexandro Gavilanes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Italy got a corner. FC Philotimo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, FC Philotimo's Alexandro Gavilanes got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandro Gavilanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, FC Philotimo's goalkeeper Alexandro Gavilanes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. Alexandro Gavilanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 46th minute of play forced FC Philotimo's goalkeeper Alexandro Gavilanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaccheo Andolina to make the kick off. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aryakumara Snow in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandro Gavilanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Siricio Liotta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siricio Liotta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Philotimo's Aryakumara Snow got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zaccheo Andolina took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandro Gavilanes. Alexandro Gavilanes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. In the 96th minute, Aryakumara Snow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Italy were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
